The Mauritius office of Pam Golding Properties has sold a luxurious six-bedroom beachfront villa in the exclusive One&Only Private Homes Le Saint G\u00e9ran resort for USD 13.6 million \u2013 the highest price ever achieved for a residential property sold on the island. The property was acquired by a foreign buyer.<\/p>\r\n

The buyers are a young, wealthy European family settling permanently in Mauritius to fulfill their dream of an idyllic beachfront lifestyle. The branded resort project combines luxury residential living with access to all hotel services to complete the luxurious island lifestyle.<\/p>\r\n

Currently under construction and designed by Macbeth and SAOTA Architects, this is one of six exclusive beachfront homes within the 52-unit Private Homes development, perfectly positioned on its own private peninsula on the east coast and integrated into the One&Only Le Saint G\u00e9ran complex. All six homes, priced in excess of $10 million, are expected to be completed in the second half of this year (2024). To date, 43 properties have been sold off-plan within the development, with a handful of four- and five-bedroom homes still available for purchase, priced between $4.33 million and $7.6 million.<\/p>\r\n

This luxury home, valued at $13.6 million, is the largest property sale in Mauritius since the introduction of real estate programs for foreign buyers in 2003. Notably, the availability of freehold beachfront land for foreigners is extremely rare, making these homes highly sought-after.<\/p>\r\n

Luxury home prices in Mauritius have soared to over $10 million, whereas previously the luxury market hovered around $5 million.
